General description and domicile:
The Cuban Tarantula is not only found in Cuba, as the name suggests, but
also in the Southern part of North America. Although not fatal in the majority
of cases a Cuban Tarantula bite will swell and become inflamed within a day or
so rapidly forming an abscess at the site of the bite. Fevers and blood
poisoning are likely.
Warning: Extreme care must be taken when handling this
spider when alive.

The spider is steeped in alcohol to form the mother tincture.
History:
There is little information on why this large hairy spider was selected as a
homeopathic remedy other than the "like cures like" application of this remedy
that is mostly used for carbuncles and inflamed abscesses.
Remedy profile:
Restless people that have difficulty sleeping are best suited to this
remedy. Tarantula Cub. people tend to become delirious during severe infections.
