General description and domicile:
Potassium iodide is obtained from laboratories where it is chemically prepared.
Remedy preparation:
Potassium iodide is ground finely with lactose - a process called
triturating.
History:
Potassium Iodide is an acknowledged source of iodine and is regularly added
to animal feeds and most domestic drinking water to prevent iodine deficiency.
