General description and domicile:
Calcium Sulphate, commonly known as Plaster of Paris, used for over a century to
immobilize fractured bones, is one of the first minerals to crystallize when sea
water evaporates. It is also found in hot springs and other volcanic sites where
it is present either as gypsum (similar to clay deposits) or selenite, a
crystalline form.

Gypsum is used in homeopathy.

Calc. Sulph. people are timid, weepy and lethargic who may compensate by
appearing bossy and quarrelsome. They often have a fear of flying animals like
bats and birds.
People needing this remedy have thick yellow, pussy discharges that may contain
blood. This remedy is mostly prescribed after the discharge starts and the color
is evident.
