| Curled Dock, Rumex
Crispus, is also known as Curly Dock and Yellow Dock. |
Originally an European plant, the seeds from this common weed has spread all
over the world. It grows virtually anywhere and if left to its own devices, will
eventually shoulder many other native plants out of the way, taking over in vast
numbers. The entire herb is used and is collected by harvesting and drying
(Thicker stems and roots may need to be split to facilitate drying). The herb
can be stored for prolonged periods after drying.
