Cajuput oil was originally extracted in Malaysia although the Melaluca
Cajuput tree is also found in most of Southern Asia and Australia. Cajuput is a
hardy, smallish tree that can grow under very arid conditions and is a tough
invader of territory. Cajuput is a rather untidy tree with small leaves and pale
grey bark.
