| Urticaria (also
called Hives) Description:
An allergic reaction of the skin causing wheals of varying sizes that are
extremely itchy. Normally triggered by an allergic reaction once it gets going
hives is hard to arrest as the body continues to produce histamines and antigen
antibodies.
Like all allergies hives or urticaria will continue to be a problem every time
the triggering allergen is encountered. Identifying and avoiding the allergen
may be a solution but it is sometimes very hard to identify and in many people
it turns out to be many, not just a single substance.
