| Thrush Description:
Candidiasis of the mucous membrane.
Thrush of the mouth - candidiasis of the tissue of the mouth - appears as patchy
white coating of the tongue often accompanied by some swelling. In children it
is mostly benign but if persistent see your doctor as it may be a symptom of an
immune system disorder.
Vaginal and Genital thrush (mostly affects women)
Symptoms are itchy, burning and inflamed
vagina with often unpleasant smelling discharge. On men red moist spots that
itch and burn often accompanied by discharge that could smell unpleasant.
