| haemorrhage Description:
Haemorrhage (also spelled hemorrhage) is the loss of blood. Hemorrhage normally
refers to the loss of a great amount of blood in a short period (arterial or
venous) but it can also refer to capillary loss of blood. Haemorrhage can either
be internal or external. Although the human body can lose a substantial
amount of blood before it becomes life threatening it is still a life
threatening situation. if you loose too much blood the body can not function and
may die. Prolonged loss of blood is also bad as it could cause many
serious conditions such as anaemia and worse. Blood loss due to major
trauma requires first aid to be administered by an appropriately trained person.
