| Growing pains Description:
Growing pains are arthritis-like pains experienced by adolescents of which the
cause is uncertain. These pains may be caused by muscular fatigue, emotional
problems and many other causes that are really nothing to do with the growth of
the physical body but more the emotional coping with other adolescent issues
such as social. Thus far there is little evidence that the process of growth
causes pain but it is theorized that there may be some temporary
inflammation-like reaction in the tissue after a sudden growth spurt.
If pain persists, see your doctor.
