Eczema is a superficial dermatitis of unknown source. In the early stages
Eczema can start as a mild, slightly itchy rash but as it progresses the itching
gets worse. Scratching may lead to infection, crusting and weeping although in
many cases crusting develops spontaneously at which stage cracking and weeping
follows. After that, in the final stages, it becomes scaly and thick.
although the cause of this condition is not known we know that it can become
worse or improve with seasonal changes. We also know that people who suffer from
Eczema almost always find some perfumes, detergents and clothing fibres that
will exacerbate the condition. Emotional stress also plays a role.
