| Dizziness Description:
Dizziness is a sensation of light headed loss of balance, It mat or may not be
accompanied by a sense of swaying and being unsure on the feet. It can also be
accompanied by a general feeling of weakness , lethargy of feebleness.
There are many causes of dizziness. Some of these are: low blood pressure
(normally worse if arising suddenly after lying down or sitting), inner ear
infections or damage, head injuries or other traumas to the brain (including
tumors) and ingesting of substances like alcohol and some medications.
As dizziness is almost always a symptom of another disorder a doctor should be
consulted if the condition persists for more than a day.
