| Constipation Description:
Constipation is the inability or difficulty in passing stools or the incomplete
passage of hard stools. It is unadvisable to regularly take laxatives or
purgatives as this will over time cause chronic constipation. it is far better
to change your diet to high fibre and a lot of fruit and vegetables as this will
over time develop regular bowel movements. Moderate exercise will also help.
Constipation can become very severe in which case it is necessary to see your
doctor. There are many causes, other than lazy bowels, than cause constipation
(obstruction of the bowel, tumours and diverticulitis to mention a few) which
may necessitate hospitalisation.
