| Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Description:
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is one of those diseases that can only be
diagnosed by elimination of other possible conditions. It is suspected
that CFS is initially caused by a viral infection but there are also other
schools of thought that feel that it is a failure of the immune system.
Symptoms are: Chronic and often disabling fatigue, headaches, sore throat,
muscular pain, joint pains, inability to concentrate and poor sleep patterns.
Not all of the symptoms are always present.
