Krill Supplement description: |
Krill is very rich in Omega 3 (a-linolenic acid).
Although essential for human survival this substance cannot synthesize
in the body and therefore has to be obtained by the body from our diet.
Krill also contains Omega 6 (linoleic acid) which also
cannot be synthesized by the body.
Omega 3 and Omega 6 are commonly called essential fatty
acids simply because they are necessary in your diet because your body cannot
produce these substances by synthesis.
Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are present and needed in all
body cells with a higher concentration in the brain and nervous system. EFAs are
claimed to assist or play a role in the regulation of cholesterol and
inflammation.
