Our definition of "boutiques" essentially means a smaller organization that carries product in a small market niche or in a specialized area in a bigger market. A boutique can also be an organization with a very small product offering. Many start-up businesses will qualify as a boutique in our definition. Our interest in this smaller supplier could be that they manufacture or supply a product or range of products that we do not have or that they have an exclusive, differentiated by some feature, product to add to sales pages where we already have product. Typically this small supplier (boutique in Beneforce terms) either has no presence on the Internet or may have a website that does not feature well on search engine results and can only be reached by entering the specific URL. For "Boutiques" we offer a mini website on Beneforce which gives a description on the organization and products. This mini website normally contains between five and ten pages where the supplier gets an opportunity to differentiate themselves as an organization and provide a features and benefits sales pitch for their products in addition to offering their products on our sales pages. Boutiques do not necessarily have to be small organizations but definitely will offer product exceptional to the run of the mill generic products. Creating a mini website takes time and effort and, as we do it for free, we are unlikely to make this investment in "me-too" products.
